Detective Sergeant Hicks is called to a luxury hotel when film star Valta Valdane reports that she has been attacked in her suite by two masked men who have taken her jewellery. She shows him bruises on her neck. By coincidence Hicks's wife went to the same school as Miss Valdane and has told him lots about her, which helps him solve the case. |
